Persian Carpet SunAi Carpet｜Memorial Carpet for Soccer World Cup South Africa 2010

Ladies and gentlemen, we at Sun Ai Carpet Company of Japan are pleased to announce the commissioning of a memorial Persian carpet in honor of the FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010. This memorial carpet will be hand-woven by a select team of artisans from Iran, following the strictest standards that have upheld for centuries one of the country’s most beloved cultural expressions. We will put all of our hearts into creating an everlasting expression of friendship and a pledge for continued cultural exchanges between all countries of the world on the occasion of the next World Cup.

I am pleased and honored that His Excellency Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Ambassador to Japan, has accepted to tie first knot in this memorial carpet, with a wish for prosperity for both of our countries, and for the continuing pursuit of cultural exchanges.
